What is Hydrafacial?

Hydrafacial is one of the most invigorating skin resurfacing procedures. It starts with gentle exfoliation to cleanse the face, removes dead skin cells, and finishes with a customized serum blend to hydrate.

Hydrafacials also remove excess oil from the pores and reduce fine lines and wrinkles, leaving you with smooth skin texture and a healthy glow.

Our clinic only uses top-of-the-line Hydrafacial MD Elite devices. There are many different booster and serum option choices at our disposal allowing us to customize each individual patient’s treatment to their needs. Thus we have different levels of hydra facial treatments ranging from silver to platinum.

How does a Hydrafacial work?

Hydrafacials are essentially 4 treatments rolled into 1! HydraFacial treatments use a patented wand device that implements swirling vortex technology to extract impurities, exfoliate, cleanse, and hydrate the face.

What happens during the Hydrafacial procedure?

During your Hydrafacial consultation, our experienced Aestheticians will meet with you to assess the condition of your skin, answer any questions, and create a personalized skincare plan for your Hydrafacial.

Hydrafacial treatment is then completed in 4 steps:

Step 1: Cleansing & Exfoliating

The Hydrafacial begins with a cleansing and gentle exfoliation to remove dead skin cells, which can dull the skin over time. This step helps to unclog pores so they appear smaller and brighter, while also prepping the skin for further treatment.

The Hydrafacial tool gently vibrates and oscillates in order to allow particles of exfoliant to be drawn deep into the dermis.

Step 2: Chemical Peel

After exfoliating, a chemical peel is applied to the skin with a new wand tip to loosen deep pore debris. This helps to illuminate dull and dry areas, as well as even out your skin tone. Unlike traditional chemical peels, Hydrafacial uses a gentle, non-irritating blend of salicylic and glycolic acids, making treatment less harsh and recovery more comfortable.

Step 3: Extraction

The extraction process is where the Hydrafacial vortex technology comes into play. The suctioning tool vacuums blackheads, dirt, debris, and any other impurities from your pores.

Step 4: Serum

The final stage of the Hydrafacial treatment is the application of hydrating serums to the skin’s surface to encourage and aid in detoxification and rejuvenation, leaving you with a healthy glow.

Hydrafacial treatment sessions typically take 30 minutes to an hour to complete. After your Hydrafacial treatment, you will have some redness on the face that may last up to 2 hours, but you can return to your normal activities immediately after the treatment.

What are the benefits of Hydrafacial?

Hydrafacial treatments promote healthy skin in a number of ways. Its most notable benefit is the overall rejuvenation effect, which includes wrinkle reduction, increased firmness, and even brown spots. Hydrafacial has been found to effectively treat acne scars, hyperpigmentation (dark spots), melasma (sun-damaged skin), dry skin, and oily skin. It also promotes increased collagen production.

The overall effects of Hydrafacial leave patients with brighter, plumper, better-hydrated skin!

How soon will I notice the results from my Hydrafacial?

Most patients report visible skin refinement and improved skin health immediately after just one treatment. Rejuvenation results include noticeably smoothed fine lines, smaller pore size, and a more even skin tone.

How long will Hydrafacial results last?

Hydrafacial results last for several weeks. To maintain your improved skin condition, it is recommended to receive additional treatments a minimum of 1-2 times per year and up to once a month.

Who should get a Hydrafacial?

Hydrafacial is appropriate for almost anyone since its gentle, glycolic acid and salicylic acid-based treatment works on all skin types, even the most sensitive ones.

Why Hydrafacial?

Hydrafacial is a wildly popular treatment because it’s super gentle and extremely effective, making it a fantastic alternative to harsh other treatments. It produces consistent results for all skin types, including those with sensitive skin. Additionally, Hydrafacial is non-invasive, there is no downtime for recovery, and the stunning, rejuvenating results of healthy skin are visible immediately after one treatment.
